Identification of Ginger Root Extract Recorded in Chinese Pharmacopoeia
Take 1g of ginger extract, cut into small pieces of 1-2mm, add 20ml of ethyl acetate, sonicate for 10 minutes, filter, evaporate the filtrate, and dissolve the residue in 1ml of ethyl acetate as the test solution. Take another 6-gingerol reference substance and add methanol to prepare a solution containing 0.5mg per 1ml as the reference solution. Perform the test using thin layer chromatography (General Rule 0502) and extract the test solution 6 μ l. Reference solution 4 μ l. Dot on the same silica gel G thin layer plate separately, use petroleum ether (60-90 ℃) – trichloromethane – ethyl acetate (2:1:1) as the developing agent, develop, remove, air dry, spray with vanillin sulfuric acid test solution, and heat at 105 ℃ until the spots show clear color. In the chromatogram of the test sample, spots of the same color appear at the corresponding positions as the reference sample chromatogram.
